A seat on a coach run by Path Audit Coaches, to and from the place and event named on the trip page. You are buying transport only. Where the trip goes to a match, a concert or a race meeting, we do not supply the ticket and your entry is your own arrangement. Booking and payment are handled by The Conductor, which is software used by Path Audit Coaches and is not the carrier.
Some trips are on sale before we know they will run. Each one shows the number of seats needed and the date by which they have to be sold - the decision date.
When you book, your card is saved and nothing is taken. Your seat is held.
Trips that are already confirmed when you book are charged in the same way, shortly after you book.
Cards expire, and a trip may confirm weeks after you saved yours. If we cannot take the fare we email you a link to pay with a different card. If we still cannot take payment, the seat may be released for somebody else.
At any point up to departure you may send somebody else in your place instead, at no charge - just tell us the name so the driver has it on the list. This is often the better answer close to the day.
To cancel, email or phone us on the details at the foot of this page. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 5 working days.
Because this is a contract for passenger transport, the fourteen day right to cancel that applies to most things bought online does not apply. The scale above is what we offer instead.
We refund every penny you have paid, automatically, to the card you paid with. That applies whether the trip failed to fill, or was called off later for weather, breakdown, or anything else that made it unsafe or impossible to run.
Where the event itself is cancelled, postponed or moved, we will tell you as soon as we know and either run the coach to the new date or refund you in full. We will say which within 48 hours of the change being announced.
We may substitute a vehicle of equivalent capacity, or run the journey with another licensed operator, without changing the fare.
Your stop and time are on your confirmation and again in the reminder we send the day before. Please be there a few minutes early. The coach can wait 5 minutes and no longer - one late passenger delays a full coach. If you miss it, no refund is due, and we would rather you told us so we are not looking for you.
Return times are given as a guide and can be affected by the event finishing late, by traffic and by roadworks. We are not liable for anything a delay costs you, such as an onward connection, so please allow a sensible margin.
Some seats are booked over the phone and paid in cash on the day. If yours is one of them, the amount is on your confirmation and on the reminder the day before. Please bring it in cash, and the right money if you can.
Every passenger must wear a seat belt where one is fitted; it is the law and the driver will say so. Smoking and vaping are not permitted.
Alcohol may not be carried or drunk on a coach travelling to or from a football match or other designated sporting event. This is not a house rule - it is a criminal offence, for the operator as well as the passenger, and the driver will refuse to travel rather than break it. On other trips, alcohol is only permitted where we have said so on the trip page.
The driver is in charge of the vehicle and may refuse to carry, or set down, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive or likely to damage the coach. No refund is due in that case, and you are responsible for the cost of any damage or cleaning caused by your party.
Under-16s must travel with an adult unless we have agreed otherwise before the day. Every passenger, whatever their age, needs a seat and a fare - babies and toddlers included, because a coach cannot legally carry anyone without one.
Tell us when you book if you use a wheelchair, need step-free access or would rather sit near the front. Not every coach is accessible, so please ask before booking rather than on the day. Assistance dogs are always welcome.
Bring what you can carry. Luggage travels at your own risk and our liability for property is limited to £500 per passenger. Anything left on board is held under the Public Service Vehicles (Lost Property) Regulations - ring us and we will look.
Speak to the driver first where something can be put right on the day. Otherwise contact us at ptcarr70+pathaudit-op@gmail.com or 01324 000000 within 28 days of travel and we will respond within 5 working days.
We use the details you give us to run your booking - your confirmation, the reminder the day before, and the boarding list the driver carries. We keep them for 12 months after travel for accounts and insurance, and then delete them. We do not sell them. If you ticked the box to hear about future trips you can unsubscribe from any email we send. Ask us at ptcarr70+pathaudit-op@gmail.com for a copy of what we hold, or to delete it.

The contract for your journey is between you (the hirer) and Path Audit Coaches, a licensed public service vehicle operator. Booking and payment are handled by The Conductor, which is software used by Path Audit Coaches and is not the carrier.
A quotation holds until the expiry date shown on it. It is based on the date, destination, timings and passenger numbers you gave us; if any of those change, the price may change. A quotation is not a booking, and a vehicle is not reserved for you until the deposit is paid.
The deposit shown on your quotation is payable when you accept, and confirms the booking. The card used for the deposit is stored securely by our payment provider, Stripe, and the balance is charged to that card automatically 14 days before the date of travel. The exact date is stated on your quotation and again on your confirmation. If the card is declined we will contact you; the booking may be released if the balance is not paid.
Bookings accepted less than 14 days before travel are payable in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation charges are calculated on the total hire price and on the notice we receive:
Where you have already paid more than the charge that applies, the difference is refunded to the card you paid with, normally within 5 working days. The deposit itself is not refundable.
Because this is a contract for passenger transport, the fourteen day right to cancel that applies to most things bought online does not apply.
We may cancel if the vehicle or driver becomes unavailable, if weather or road conditions make the journey unsafe, or for any other reason outside our reasonable control. If we cancel you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit. We will always try to find you an alternative vehicle first, including from another licensed operator.
We may substitute a vehicle of equivalent or greater capacity, and may sub-contract the work to another licensed operator, without changing the price.
The vehicle, the driver, fuel and insurance for the journey described on your quotation.
It does not include parking or coach drop-off charges, road tolls, congestion or low emission zone charges, ferry fares, entry tickets, meals, or overnight accommodation for the driver, unless they are listed on your quotation. Where we buy any of these on your behalf at your request, they are charged on and are non-refundable once bought.
The driver's hours are limited by law and we cannot exceed them. If the party is late, or the itinerary runs beyond the times quoted, the later part of the day may have to be shortened, or a second driver arranged at additional cost.
You cannot assume use of the vehicle between an outward and return journey unless that was quoted for.
We are not liable for delay caused by traffic, road closures, weather, breakdown or anything else outside our reasonable control, or for any cost you incur as a result - a missed kick-off, curtain-up or connection, for example. Please allow sensible margins when you tell us your times.
The number of passengers must not exceed the seating capacity of the vehicle. Every passenger must wear a seat belt where one is fitted; it is a legal requirement and the driver will say so.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted on board. Food and drink, including alcohol, may only be consumed on board where we have agreed it in writing beforehand.
Alcohol may not be carried at all on a journey to or from a designated sporting event, including football matches. Carrying it is a criminal offence for the operator as well as the passenger, and the driver will refuse to travel.
The driver is in charge of the vehicle at all times and may refuse to carry, or may set down, any passenger whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive or likely to damage the vehicle. No refund is due in that case.
You are responsible for damage or soiling caused by your party. A charge of £150 is made for cleaning where a vehicle is soiled, and the cost of repair where a vehicle is damaged. We will invoice you and provide photographs.
Luggage is carried at your own risk and subject to the space available; please tell us at the quotation stage if you have bulky items, skis, bikes or instruments. Our liability for property carried is limited to £500 per passenger. Property found on the vehicle is held in accordance with the Public Service Vehicles (Lost Property) Regulations.
Please tell us at the quotation stage if any passenger uses a wheelchair or needs step-free access, so we can allocate a suitable vehicle. Not every vehicle in the fleet is accessible and we cannot guarantee it if we are told on the day. Assistance dogs are always welcome.
We provide transport. We do not sell travel packages - we do not include event tickets, accommodation or other services in the price, and where you ask us to buy something on your behalf we do so as your agent and not as a package organiser.
Speak to the driver first where something can be put right on the day. Otherwise contact us at ptcarr70+pathaudit-op@gmail.com or 01324 000000 within 28 days of travel and we will respond within 5 working days.
We use the contact details you give us to arrange and run the hire, and keep them for 12 months after travel for accounts and insurance purposes, and then delete them. We do not sell them. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, at ptcarr70+pathaudit-op@gmail.com.
